• In class prompt writing generates new work each week. Prompts may be used for personal stories, fiction or character development.

• Screenwriters bring in scenes that can be cast from the class to hear read.

• Novelists, essayists and memoirists bring new pages.

• Songs, poems, blogs, short stories, one woman shows, musings and rants-- anything goes.

• If you are not currently working on material outside of class, assignments will be offered.

• Although it is encouraged, you are not required to bring work in every week.

• Rewriting is a part of the process.

• Confidentiality and safety are the foundation of the women's circle.

• There will be a class story salon quarterly for those who are interested. This will be a public performance.

Cost is $440 for an 8 week session:

Current session running through June 18, 2024.

There is a sliding scale if you are in need!

You can join at any time.

 

CLASS SCHEDULE: ​

Live classes are held Tuesday mornings from 10:30-1pm EST

​

 

Classes are held weekly in 2 1/2 hour sessions.

  Come join us for a sample class anytime. Summer is off, we resume in the fall.
